Hey hey Mavens! It’s been a hot second since I’ve written a blog post. While most of you follow my social media and may know some of what’s been going on in my life, in las you missed it…IM PREGNANT!

Yes! My husband, Kyle, and I found out at the end of October that we are expecting. Needless to say we must have been VERY excited about our new move and wasted no time in celebrating that! lol It has been and interesting few months getting the opportunity to soak in the surprise, share with our families, and then get the chance to announce online to everyone else. (If you haven’t watched our families reaction video yet you can check it out HERE)

It’s been a strange thing watching and feeling my body change over the last 3 months. I am equal parts excited and terrified all at the same time. This will be our first child and I have no idea what to expect. With the surplus of info online at your fingertips there are plenty of horror stories that I am learning to avoid. This will definitely be the biggest change in our life since we were married.

Our next appointment is coming up on Monday where we get another ultrasound and get to see how much baby W has grown since we last saw him/her. Kyle is very excited to come along with me to the appointment. I’m really grateful to have a husband who has been very supportive through this whole thing and one who is excited as well. He is going to make a great father, and I can’t wait for the day I see the two of them meet.

I have been struggling with my depression/anxiety for the last few months. While of course I am grateful for this blessing, being off of my medication completely definitely takes its toll. On top of regular hormone changes from being pregnant. I continue to pray and research ways of naturally working through my mental illness. I want to be able to enjoy this pregnancy to the fullest.

Christmas will be here in a few days and we are really excited to spend time with family. We actually visited my hometown of Owosso MI last weekend for an event called Christmas on Main. I will have a vlog up very soon of our experience. It was nice to walk around and check out all of the new shops that have opened since I moved away. It’s definitely a very family friendly town.

I am so ready to bring in the new year of 2020. This will be such a life changing year as I go from the role of wife to wife & mother. I am excited to share my journey with you guys. I hope you all enjoy your holiday with family and loved ones! I will be chatting with you all again soon!

Merry Christmas!

XoXo
